Dill Cashew Dip

Yummy! This nutrient dense dip is an amazing addition to any veggie tray or charcuterie board. Enjoy it on your favourite seedy cracker, a spread on a sandwich or a dollop in your salad.

Cashews this nut is great to use for dairy free creamy dips, dressings and cheeses. They are high in magnesium, a smooth muscle relaxant that can help alleviate body pain, PMS symptoms and constipation. A source of protein which is vital for blood sugar balance, tissue repair, hair, skin and nails. As well as source of zinc. which aids in wound healing. 

Flax Seed Oil is one of the richest sources of Omega-3 fatty acids. Which are important to support immune function and have anti-inflammatory effects. Flax oil should be consumed raw. It’s a great addition to homemade dips, salad dressings and smoothies.

Dill gives a great punch of flavour! Dill has anti-bacterial qualities and is a source of Vitamin C and Calcium.

Dill Cashew Dip

Dill Cashew Dip
Yield: 500 ml

This is a delicious dipped packed with nourishing fats and delicious flavour!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw unsalted cashews
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Flax oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 small Zucchini, chopped
  • 2-3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Dill
  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak cashews for 6 hrs in filtered water.
  2. Drain and rinse cashews.
  3. Place all ingredients into high speed blender or food processors and process until smooth.
  4. Enjoy with veggies, crackers or on salad.

Notes

Store in air tight container in fridge
